IMO, if these people spent half as much time and energy on their own sins/ behaviours that they spending on the behaviours of others, the world would be a better place.
Im up for the concubine thing, any volunteers?
Actually the gay marriage amendment is one of the things I tend to disagree with Bush on but to my understanding both parties have alot of members supporting it, not to say that support makes it right.I think it's a distraction myself.
How many people truly follow religion to the letter ??? How many pick out the bits that they want and conveniently ignore the rest ??? I have absolutely no problem with gay marriage, if two people with to spend their lives together and cement that relationship with vows then surely in the free world they should have the right to do so.
Will someone PLEASE tell the Messiah that we're WAITING!?..a little help here Please...!
I look at the Bible as "the Word of God, as written by Man". For all we know, these men could've been up on a hilltop, toking their brains out while writing this all down, or they could've been out to put down no less than what thye believed the Word of God ought to say. Even to this day, most of us own the King James Version of the Bible, which is nothing more than ol' Jamie's attempt to do what I just said.
Sorry, wrong keystroke. This "amendment" is nothing more than the same thing, Mankind trying to impose its own moral and ethical views on the masses. A better use of that Congressional time would be to create a decent health-care system for the country.
