WHY DO ALL REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS LIKE WAR?

We tried staying out of both World Wars; it wasn't until we were attacked that our Democratic presidents declared war. And to the person who created this poll, not all Republican presidents like war. A large majority of the ones between the Lincoln and McKinley administrations tried to reconstruct the United States after the Civil War. I don't recall TR, Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, or Eisenhower getting us involved in a war either. (Hell, Eisenhower tried to avoid war at all costs during the Cold War era.) As for the Republican presidents who DO like war... it's probably for their image's sake. Bush, for example, was able to make himself seem like a war hero after 9/11, and he tried to continue that image with the war in Iraq. He failed.
