COMMENTS:
Is it really too much to ask to really say something sincerely nice?
Some may not believe mine is a compliment, but for those who know me, it is a compliment of the highest order.
My major problem is ... since Bush, the Republican party has changed ... drastically! I don't know which GOP to address, anymore.
For example, I can respect Fiscal Conservatism -- a traditional GOP value. But ... today's GOP no longer practices this, so I can't cite it.
Trust me, I understand we have differences. I just thought it would be nice to try to see at least 1 thing positive about your opposition.
Bloc Quebec, separation is a great way to destroy a country and start a cival war and decimate our economy

Nevermind. I guess it was too much to ask, but I though I'd give it a try. Thanks for those of you who genuinely tried>Cathexis
I like heinz ketchup
I do agree with some of the social programs democrats support,
I also like some of the envirormental programs they support
ceejjj
Thanks also to Larry who is making a positive effort :)
and doof
No prob, I love guns and hate that Democrats want to take them away. I have 4 myself. I'm in the NRA and Sierra Club!
I have no political affliation so, I'll say a bit good about BOTH parties. Most Dems are better at domestic social issues and most Reps are better at issues of national security. Hawks vs Doves! Fav Dem: Joe Lieberman - I'd vote for this man in a skinny second, but the extreme left wing of the Dems won't nominate him! Drats! Fav Rep: George W. and John McCain as BOTH speak their minds!
ceejjj - LMAO! Did you see Cranky's submission? Very nice "sincere" response, eh? Are you getting a "feel" for his type yet? GREAT ballot!
Ctahexis - I agree with you completely on the issue of fiscal responsibility by the Reps. I think most of that was done to expand the party's base (you know what I mean) and I think you may find that the "spending" that has been going on will soon be put in check. We'll see??!! Also, I do not agree with your opinion that the Republican party has changed drastically. Their basic planks are still *mostly* the same as far as I can tell minus the spending that I have already coinceded has changed. Please elaborate if you can.
Ceejjj - I see that the Republicans/Hilter choice is leading your ballot's votes. That ought to give you some degree of a "reality" check as to what you're dealing with on this Site.
That's true Dad, I was just hoping I could get some positive feelings, since most political ballots are rife with negative thoughts, but it wasn't too successful was it? There were a few people that made an effort and I will thank those people for it! I also must say I like Joe Lieberman too, he says it like it is! That would be a democrat that I would consider voting for.
Don't forget Wes Clark! I think he's like the Democratic counterpart of John McCain, who happens to be my favorite Republican.
Ok i'm positive i can't stand John Kerry.....
Republicans have the greatest PR system in history.
