ARE AMERICANS WHO FLY FLAGS OTHER THAN THE STARS & STRIPES, TRAITOROUS?

I ask, because for a nation who like to wrap themselves in the flag at every opportunity, they seem very tolerant of those who fly the flag of the confederacy.

Would they be as tolerant if the flag of another country was flown or flaunted in the same manner?

Are those who fly flags other than the American flag, traitors?

Yes, they are traitors
No, it is acceptable

If you are going to insist on wasting your entire sad little life scouting around this website for ballots that allow guest comments, could you at least PLEASE sort out your spelling and grammar?

Or you could go and get a girlfriend, a job, and a life. If you can.

The confederate flag is an American flag, it's no different than flying a state flag.

Erm ... since the Confederacy was an enemy of the United States and no longer exists as a contributing entity, I suggest it is not the same as flying a state flag, thc.

It's the heritage of the south. Anyways who can wave a flag all you want odds are most Americans will just ignore you.

People do fly other flags in the US all the time. Every ethnic parade the people are out waving their italian, or mexican, or irish, or cuban, or chinese or any other flag they want. And I've yet to hear of any of them being tried for treason.

As long as you place the US ahead of other nations go ahead and wave whatever flag you want.

Cathexis
The United States was an enemy of its own principles and of the Confederacy. The Confederate states were exercising their right as sovereign nations to secede from a VOLUNTARY union. True, they were violating the rights of their slaves but the North was violating the principles of the United States.

It's no more treasonous than flying a state flag. The standard American flag is more of a symbol of treason than the Confederate flag.

No, if they are flying the flag of their home state (i.e. Kentucky state flag, California state flag, Idaho state flag) then they are not traitorous. This is because they are still representing America, and showing loyalty and love for America. The only difference with this though is that flying a state flag is showing love and loyalty for a specific part of a nation, which is very much okay.
