Just curious. Of course alot of people have the same views as their parents but what if you found the views that he /or she was supporting were the the opposite of your own, would you vote for that parent anyway?

I would always love them, but I couldn't politically support them if their values were opposed to mine.

Well, it would depend partly upon how opposed we were in our political viewpoints. Mostly though, I'd just have to refuse to talk politics with him or her, otherwise we'd be bickering forever and our relationship would fall apart.
