Some people just have to have the last word. When I sense that, I bow out before too much time is wasted. Agreeing to disagree is a good choice in that situation.

My son... he has to have the last word in everything. I told him that he was born without one of those little self preservating voices that tells him when to be quiet and live or keep talking and take his life into his hands.. :)
I have only come across two people on this site who insist on having the last word. Both are male, and both disagree with my politics. I am always happy to bow out and let them feel like 'winners'. I end up the ultimate 'winner' because I have saved myself some valuable time.

I think most of us our guilty of wanting to have the last word from time to time

I think last words are not too important, its the points that are made that really matter.
