Other then this, everybody has been happy with him though.
It looks like he's getting them in every orifice now.
Bad idea, tax the people who waste fuel at the gas pump.

I can see the reasoning behind it: gasoline taxes pay for repairing and maintaining the roads in CA. Well the roads don't care how efficient your car is, it still does the same amount of damage. And right now those people are getting away with doing the same damage but paying less than everyone else. That being said new taxes are always a bad thing, and people should be encouraged to buy hybrid cars. Cut some social programs if you need more money. Right now california is a haven for all the bums in the country because they give out more money than any other state. Use that to build roads, you can keep taxes low and maybe the bums will leave. Win-win.
I sincerely hope that every moron who voted for him is suffering.
And what ABC said.
actually, if Ca would not have been taken advantage of so badly by the faux energy crisis we would be okay financially.
I would rip the son-of-a-bitch right out of my car, for sure.
The one social program we need to cut is the military.
they are trying to pull that crap here in OR too.no way!
America wants services but doesn't want to pay.
I do alot of driving for my work, and I drive a relatively feul-efficient vehicle so I am against it. Besides, herzog is wrong. The heavier the vehicle, the more damage it does to a road over time. I should know--I used to work in highway/roadway construction. Average vehicle weight has to be taken into consideration concerning how long a road or highway will last before repairs. If there is alot of high tonnage traffic, you can expect repairs sooner than later.
Actually thx what you said had nothing to do with my argument. Weight and fuel efficiency are not the same thing. An inefficient VW bug that weighs next to nothing does less damage to the road than a more efficient hybrid mini van, despite paying a greater amount for road repair than the latter.
