He's a whackjob. There was a tremendous amount of planning, timing, and covering-up that took place to make that staged event happen.

Most of the terrorists did not even know themselves that they were on a mission to their deaths.

What I find even more despicable are those in positions of power who had forehand knowledge of it, yet did nothing to stop it.

Nope. Swith english to arabic and 'god' to 'allah' and his statement really isn't any different than those people saying south east asia deserved to get hit with a tsunami for their immorality.

Anyone who says mass murder/death is justified because the people weren't perfect christians/muslims/whatever is dead wrong.

I'd much rather think of God as a constant source of love and understanding, urging us to better ourselves and fill the world with love instead of some being that can protect or not protect at will.

During the American civil war more US citizens died at the battle of Gettysburg over that three day period than died in the entire Vietnam war. During the Spanish Flu outbreak millions of US citizens died, millions more than the 3,000 who died on 9/11. What conslusions can we draw from this? That Pat Robertson is a moron with no idea about history? That Pat Robertson thinks America was "ungodly" in 1862, 1918 and every other year when disaster struck? What a wanker.
