Nearly everyone on this site knows I'm a Democrat, and I'm definitely on the left side, but I wouldn't call myself an "Extreme Leftist". Although when I was talking to this one guy about the possibility of a draft, and when I said "If Bush institutes a draft, you'll understand why I hate him so much, because you'll lose your prospects for life with it." In which this guy (who I know to be a Republican) answered "There will be no draft! Stop exposing your unclean extreme lieftist mind!".

And be proud of it. At SOME point in his life, that Republican just MIGHT stop and ask, "WHY is he that extremely to the left?", and bother to do the necessary actual research to come to the conclusion that you viewpoint can't just be dismissed.

American leftism is basically Marxism which is same as communism and at the same time absolutely nothing like the USSR. The USSR and China weren't communist but the were facist.
