I don't even know if this would be possible but I guess He can make it possible. There is already a backdoor draft with the whole stop-loss bit, and the bringing back previous "early-outers" because of administrative loopholes and errors, could using thre Air Force and Navy recruits as ground forces be next? They both get "some" weapons training but not much.

Is there a possiblilty Bush would push for using Air Force and Navy Personnel on the ground?

(if he did that, then there recruitment levels would fall as well)

There is no shortage of servicemen and woman. There are many in places where they no longer have to be or should be, such as Germany,Korea, and Japan. No need for troops in Europe, Europe is completely pacified. They wouldn't hurt a fly. The real life combat experience American soldiers are currently getting and will get for years to come is making the US military lean, mean, and battle hardened. This war makes them stronger and more formidable rather than weaker.

Read the "Fine Print" before joining The Reserves.The National Guard are a joke and shouldn't be heavily relied upon for anything.
