and actually Hitler was supposedly a great orator, can't say that for Bush. The only reason W. doesnt have Hitlers mustache is because it get in the way of his habit.

While it is possible that the US could overextend its forces overseas and be forced to withdraw it's unlikely we'll ever face invasion. The countries in this hemisphere are weak and wouldn't attack us anyway. And there is no military in the world capable of sending enough troops and supplies over the pacific/atlantic to do anything worthwhile. The US is the only nation with that capability.

The U.S. will come to its senses sooner or later I hope, and realize you dont have to be the king of the world in order to be happy. Look at the crazy Canadiens, I have met a few now and they are very content with where they are in the hierarchy of the world, they arent at the top nor the bottom, they dont control anything around the world and they are rarely influential to anyone but they are still happy. I would prefer to be happy then to be able to say "my country can kick your countries ass"
