When i was a child back in Indiana we lived in a house that was no doubt haunted by a man that was murdered in the attic (i found this out years later after doing some research). Every night when i'd walk up the stairs i'd get to the bedroom (which was near the attic door) and then be chased down the stairs by this old man. I would look back about half way down the strairs and he would just vanish................Have you ever vistied OR lived in a haunted house?

One time in a place called Cashlie (sp?) in western scotland a big group of us went to stay at this nice house in the country in the middle of nowhere deep in the valleys, and at night there was no lamp posts so it was pitchblack. One night we had all gone a walk in the dark with torches and when we came back to the house my Aunty swore she saw someone dash past the window. Then later on when we were all sleeping my Mum swore she heard footsteps coming from the Lobby, but in the morning nobody said they got up in the evening. Spooky?

our mind can do some strange things. I once thought I saw someone who had passed, but after thinking about it, I realized it was just wishful thinking and my imagination tried to accommodate, if you knew someone was murdered in the house, maybe your mind played tricks on you, especially if you were a child.

mind you, not saying you do not believe you saw the ghost, but just saying

larrynelmira, i didn't know that anyone had been murdered in the house until years later. I researched it about 15 years after we had moved out of the house. There was something evil in that house, because once when i was holding my bible, something ripped it out of my arms and literally threw it into a bucket of mop water that was in the kitchen doorway when i was walking by it. That was really freaky.
