WOULD YOU SUPPORT ABORTION IN A CASE OF A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL RAPED?

[+] ballot by GS_NewWorldRuler

Let's say this girl is 14 or 15, and some 30 year old raped her. This WASN'T her choice. She couldn't have helped it. Do you really think she should be FORCED by OTHER PEOPLE to go through something that might ruin her life? Of course, she wouldn't be forced NOT to have one, just should it be an option for her in these circumstances?

Yes, in this case
Yes, I usually support it anyway
Only the first time it happened
No, there's adoption
No, rape is good good good!
I wouldn't say no, but id ask her to see a priest
yes, it should be mandatory in this case
Only if it were MY kid.

I support a womans right to choose, especially in events like these, even though I personally wouldn't get an abortion.

I knew a friend in high school that was the "product" of a violent rape. It was a radom act, and her mother didn't even know the guy who raped her so he was never punished for the crime. However, when she found out she was pregnant from this rape, she decided to keep the baby. To this day, the mother doesn't have a relationship with men (traumatically so), but I commend her on her choice, she treats her daughter like gold.

In the end everyones life is different, who are we to judge others actions without "walking in thier shoes"?

Women bodies are for women to decide on. I am pro choice,as any other 'choice' is no choice at all.

A legal ban on abortion does not stop abortion, it just makes it less safe and makes it easy for those who are unqualified to butcher women.

it would be up to the girl..

Abortions should only be performed in cases of rape and in medical emergencies, not as a form of birth control because somebody was either too lazy or too stupid to use a condom or the pill.

Who appointed you a moral guardian?

If men were so up in arms at all the high pregnancy rates, perhaps they should all volunteer for vasectomies. Instead of villifying women whos only crime is to enjoy sex as much as a man.

Not only do I support this scenario but I support ANY womans choice to abort a unwanted preganacy, AS LONG AS it is NOT used for a form of birth control.

"Who appointed you a moral guardian?"
I have as much right to my opinion as you, you socialist.
by Bostonian on Fri Mar 18, 05 1:51pm [+]

I wouldn't support it, but I wouldn't be as adamantly opposed to it as I would be an abortion caused by a mistake during consensual sex
by Kiki on Wed Mar 30, 05 9:55pm [+]

Sorry, but because I'm a guy and would never have to experience what she is experiencing I feel as though I have nothing to say about it.. It's a womans issue and I will support whatever the majority of women support.. I can't experience it, ergo I've nothing to say..
by spanky on Wed Apr 13, 05 12:34am [+]

Yeah. She shouldn't be forced to keep it.
