The country where the masses allow themselves to be lied to and are fed a diet of propaganda and half truths by their government, under the guise of truth.

^^^ he means America, the crafty little hamster!

North Korea. Granted that in the US our education system and media are dominated by a certain group of brainwashed ideologes, but they represent only a very small part of the overall population.
by herzog on Fri Mar 18, 05 11:26am [+]

Ha ha! Love that result... herzog, you're just brainwashed into thinking that others are more brainwashed than you.

Now off you go and die for profit margins, like a good little drone.
by DingleDUNG on Fri Mar 18, 05 11:36pm [+]

What ever country DingleDung is from. I belive its Upper Volta. Based on what DingleDung writes, clearly, his country is the best brain washers in the world.

Shut the hell up Dingle! What a horrid thing to write to Herzog. You're sick! And YOU claim that we are not civilized or cultured? Looks to me that based on your comment, you're sole motivation is that you hate America. Why don't you just go away... :)
by patch22us on Sat Mar 19, 05 7:37am [+]

Wake up, patch.

The children of your nation's poorer citizens ARE dying for profit margins, a long way from home.

Ever wondered why?
by DingleDUNG on Sat Mar 19, 05 11:42am [+]

China
Europeans as a whole are certainly up there though.

by DingleDUNG on Mar 19, 2005

Oh please Dingle, your arraogance and feeling of self-importance is pathetic. I am wide awake Dingle and sorry, but someone like you is far from qualified, or justified, to be telling anyone to wake up. You know nothing.
by patch22us on Sat Mar 19, 05 2:08pm [+]

Don't be too hard on dingle, he's just programmed to believe anyone who doesn't march lockstep with his ideology is brainwashed. It's rather sad actually. I pity him.
by herzog on Sat Mar 19, 05 5:40pm [+]

Wide awake?? OK then, self-declared genius, let's assume for a moment that the US DIDN'T invade Iraq for profit & status then. Are you trying to tell me that Saddam posed a direct threat to the US (when he didn't even have hardware with a long enough range to effectively target Israel, his comparative neighbour..!)? Your borders were threatened, were they?
++++
Still not dead, herzog? Shame.
by DingleDUNG on Sun Mar 20, 05 8:40am [+]

Wow! DingleDUNG, look at how quickly you become nasty! Man, you are really proving my every thought of you to be right on. Cool! Keep losing it man, because everytime you resort to the nastiness that you seem so prone to, you totally validate what I and many users really feel about your views.

This is what you wrote to Herzog:
"Still not dead, herzog? Shame."

Man, you really are a hypocrit!! Nasty, cruel, arrogant and vindicitive to boot. Yeah, you're a real peace-loving global citizen..yeah, sure.
by patch22us on Sun Mar 20, 05 9:27am [+]

Someone has issues. It's an internet polling site, get a grip man. Look, your beliefs are too well entrenched to be removed or changed with any number of facts or logical arguments. You're an ideologue. Accept this and move on, but there's no need to nasty about it.
by herzog on Sun Mar 20, 05 11:23am [+]

Herz, you directed that last comment to DingleDung, right? Just want to make sure he is aware of that. He really shocked me with how quickly he became nasty.
by patch22us on Sun Mar 20, 05 11:34am [+]

Yeah, that last comment was for dingle.
by herzog on Sun Mar 20, 05 12:14pm [+]

That's NOT a response to my question, patch. Have another go, and this time don't evade the issue.

PS I'd *certainly* not lose any sleep if I heard herzog had been killed... it would make the world a slightly better place.
by DingleDUNG on Tue Mar 22, 05 8:42pm [+]

I think dung is a very depressed individual.
by herzog on Wed Mar 23, 05 3:49pm [+]

Dung, what is your question again? I've lost track. And I know you don't mean that about Herzog. That was a cruel thing to write. Lets please end this debate now.
by patch22us on Wed Mar 23, 05 5:08pm [+]

You *don't* think, herzog. That's one of your main problems.
Patch, the question is whether Iraq was a serious threat to the US, posted by me on March 20th. And no, it's not a dig at the US - it's a genuine question.
by DingleDUNG on Thu Mar 24, 05 2:08pm [+]

Hi DingleDung, no, I don't think Iraq posed a serious threat to the US. That is to say not an immediate threat, but overall, not a serious one.
by patch22us on Thu Mar 24, 05 2:25pm [+]

OK, so what was the reason for the invasion?
by DingleDUNG on Thu Mar 24, 05 10:11pm [+]

I don't know DingleDung. There are those that would say oil, but that does not seem to hold true, given prices are on the rise and that the UN certified that Iraq was in full control of its oil. To be honest, there are those that say Israel conspired to get us to do their dirty work for them. There was a report that quickly hit the headlines and then disappeared, that said there was proof that top Israeli agents were brought into the Pentagon and met with Paul Wolfowitz and some other guy and that Wolfowitz, being an Israeli patsy, knowingly gave the White House, CIA and the Pentagon false intelligence data. You may skoff at that, but to be honest, I tend to believe it. The Israeli influence with parts of our government is very powerful and I truly belive that they use us as their proxy to power (sort of get us to do their fighting for them). I don't know...I just know that the American people (some) are fed up to here with Israel coniving (sp?) and influencing our government. Just a theory...maybe...maybe not??
by patch22us on Fri Mar 25, 05 9:42am [+]

Yep, the US-Israel connection is almost certainly a major cause of the antipathy of the Arab world towards the US and its allies. And it's doing your nation's image a great deal of harm.
by DingleDUNG on Sat Mar 26, 05 9:26am [+]

We know that DingleDung, the question is, did Israel maniupulate intelligence and other factors to get us to invade. Of course the government could never admit to that, but it seems that our relationship with Israel is weakening a little and that could be why.
by patch22us on Sun Mar 27, 05 8:36pm [+]

I don't think so, unless you're prepared to believe that all of the Coalition powers' intelligence services were compromised to a greater or lesser degree by the Israelis... I suspect the decision for war was made before the case for war was put together, and had a lot to do with loss of face & the need to reassert dominance.
by DingleDUNG on Mon Mar 28, 05 4:23pm [+]

Which country having the most brainwashed people is little more than a matter of individual opinion. Thus, anybody who puts a "most brainwashed people" label on any country throughout the world whatever its political ideology may be will always be making nothing but a hasty generalization without first considering as many angles as is humanly possible to consider. Abraham Lincoln once said, "You can fool all of the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all the time but you can't fool all of the people all the time." Pure and simple logic prevails here.

Now, the only time any ruling oligarchy of any totalitarian police state could totally and permanently "brainwash" all of its people would be for that oligarchy to (1.) totally isolate its country from the rest of the world with neither communmications nor diplomatic relations of any kind whatsoever allowed with any other nation in the world, (2.) close all of its borders and create and maintain a five-kilometer-wide “no-man’s land” to keep all foreigners out as well as to imprison it’s people and (3.) set up frequency "jamming stations" all around the perimeter of the country just like there were along the old Iron Curtain during Cold War One in order to permanently cut it’s people off from all contact with the rest of the world thus keeping all standards of comparison out of the hands of its people. Needless to say, this is all a long-ago-proven dream which is utterly impossible of realization because people are eventually going to formulate their own opinions regardless of any totalitarian regime’s efforts to stop them from doing so. So much for "brainwashing." Need I say more?
