I had stated in a previous ballot that studies show that cities that had implemented Abstinence Only Sex Ed. Before Bush made it mandatory on average managed to keep the kids in the town virgins for one year longer than they would have without A.O. sex ed. but since the classes misinformed children about the ineffectiveness of birth control they were less likely to use them and as a result the STD and teen pregnancy rates increased. Since so many women that have abortions are unwed teens, it stands to reason that if you lower teen pregnancy rates you can lower the number of abortions performed, so since abstinence only sex education increases teen pregnancy rates and therefore will increase the number of abortions preformed and conservatives are against all of these things happening (typically) why do you support this form of sex ed over the fact based alternative? Wouldn’t you rather a woman use birth control than have an abortion? If you want to reduce the number of abortions preformed annually; why don’t you support fact based sex education?

It's one of those questions that just make my head spin. At face value, a simple derivation of logic, but somehow, in certain minds, it becomes a thing beyond all reason.
