Money is essential, and nuclear weapons were inevitable, human nature and the laws of physics being what they are.
Religion
Money only symbolises the amount of wealth. Use any other system- bartering, etc, and the greed and desire many individuals attach to wealth would still remain. So money itself is not the problem.
Nuclear weapons which is purely designed to kill on a very large scale is obviously more concerning than money.
