Of course you get different varities of humour, ranging from perhaps the lowest sarchasm, to the highest froms of wit and imitation, all of which i contend use certain forms of intelligence that tend to be taken for granted conventionally. A good sense of humour suggest empathy and a sense of proportion, turning even the biggest mountain into the smallest molehill with one well timed joke or gesture. A sense of humour can get you further in life than a high IQ in a lot of areas, yet it isnt given any recognition as a form of intelligence. So i ask you, is this wrong?

Humour is a form of intelligence
Humour cannot be measured like intelligence

I think of intelligense as being the abilty to manipulate be it through numbers,words,visuo-spatial tasks,... in order to achieve an end result with some skills being more rare and difficult than others.I think the ability to use humor to your advantage is definitely a component of intelligense.
