There is no such thing as "normal" and the sooner people realize that, the sooner they will stop trying to live their life to fit inside some predetermined social box. You don't have to be married to be successful, or have children, have a Master's degree or be a size six. You simply have to live your life as the gift it is and try to find something enjoyable in every day. How long has it been since you've watched the sunset or looked up at the stars at night? Sounds corny but these are the things we have to remember to stop and enjoy. Who care's what someone else thinks anyway??
