(this is my 2nd attempt at this--perhaps I'm just special) Okay. Teens today get a lot of crap from adults. They say we're disrespectful, we don't listen, we're wild and uncontrollable, we drink, smoke, do drugs, and participate in promiscuous activities. In your opinion, what is it about teens that makes adults hang their heads in doubt and shame?? (Please post comments. I really wanna know what you think.) THANKS FOR VOTING!!

morals (or lack thereof)
cant use the brain they were born with

I think that todays teens are mostly between the ages of 12 and 19. And are mostly male (or female)

Some teenagers have some of the attributes that you mentioned, others don't. The same is true of adults. I agree 100% that the stereotypes are unfair. Some teenagers act more mature than some adults. Many of the teenagers I know are cool and fun. Don't let the stereotypes get ya down!

Teens are experimenting and learning out the world. This takes many, many forms. It is important for the future that they do this. The role of adults in the process is to try and ensure that whatever they are doing doesn't harm them or land them in jail. Both roles are vital because they determine our rate of growth and our future direction.

all teens should be put to work in the coal mines and should they survive those years of character development, then they can become citizens. there's nothing wrong or different about teens today, they're just as disgusting as their parents were as teens. i encourage them to be lazy, to take drugs and to have lots of gratuitous sex...soon enough they'll have to "fall in line"...like everybody else..
