The Pheonix Suns are probably gonna win. If not Pheonix than Miami. Pheonix is an all around team but Miami is good too. I doubt the Pistons are gonna get out of the second round.
Also about Detroit. They aren't a dominant team. They almost got handled by Philadelphia on Saturday and if they can allow a 7th seed team to get a 16 point lead in the first qtr then that's gonna be a problem.
Yeah, well, I do believe the Pistons won the Championship last year, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for the Suns or the Heat. LATER!
P.S. They may not have one awesome player (i.e. Shaq is all Miami has), but they have 5 or 6 good players which I believe evens it out or makes them better. Taaayy-Shaun! PRINCE!

Aiken, that was last year. This is a new season and a new team. Things have changed. You suggesting that Detroit is gonna win this year because they won last year is like me saying that San Antonio should've won last year.
Detroit may have a few good players but that doesn't explain why they weren't in front of Miami during the regular season. You can put 12 All Stars on a team but if they can't put out in the regular season then it doesn't count for anything. Maybe they'll get through in the Eastern Confrence playoffs but they won't beat a team from the west this year.

Philadelphia is a 7 seed. Detroit shouldn't have had a problem sweeping them like Miami did New Jersey (as Miami will sweep Wizards or Bulls) in round 2.

I'm not a big fan of any of the teams in the playoffs this year so unlike you I don't stand by any one of them strongly.
1. I was HOPING that Indiana would win because of Reggie Miller (that doesn't mean I said they'd win it)
2. I said that Miami would reach the finals and I stand by that.
3. I expected Suns to get there based on their regular season record but as usual the team without playoff experience gets booted.
4. I then saw how the Suns played and concluded that the Spurs would get there and win.
5. I wouldn't be that suprised if Detroit beat Miami because like the Spurs, Detroit has a lot of good players in the starting 5 and on the bench.
These are the playoffs. You can't predict it. It's like the lottery. You don't know who's going to be injured or not, that's why from the first day of the playoffs I expected Shaquille to be healthy and play better. There isn't a sports analyst in the world who can tell you who's going to win it from the beginning.

I don't think that just because D-Town is having trouble with Miami, they're gonna have even more trouble with the Spurs. Though I didn't watch most of the Playoffs last season, I'm sure there were times when people were thinking that the Pistons weren't gonna win the Championship because they were having problems beating "less talented" teams when they should have defeated them easily. I don't believe it's right to base your opinion on things like that. I know that Detroit was the underdog last year but apparently that doesn't always mean anything. Even thought I'm happy with what they've done so far this season, I hope that if Detroit beats Miami, they go on to win in the Finals as the underdogs again so they can show for the second consecutive year that they have what it takes to be Champs.
But anywho, seeing how you know so much more than me about the NBA and the Playoffs (I'm not sayin' that you think that, I really believe you do), what is it about the Spurs that makes you think they're gonna win the Championship? Here's how it's going to be.
Detroit will beat Miami in 7 because neither Shaquille Oneal and Dwayne Wade are in good health condition. If they were then it would be a completely different story.
In the finals San Antonio will beat Detroit in 6 games because San Antonio has a better bench, better starting lineup, and are an overall better team in all categories. That is if the Spurs don't have injury problems.

Recap:
The refs made alot of bad calls against the Spurs in the first quarter but Spurs pulled it off in the end.
Robert Horry had one hell of a game and I can't believe they left him that open in the end. Even I was sure he'd be the shooter since inbounders happen to be the shooters most of the time and he was on fire. Bad defense for Detroit.
Game 6 is up next and when the Spurs win it my prediction will come true:

Oh, and the last Richard Hamilton play wasn't a defensive foul. Tony Parker was set, didn't move in and since the offensive player moved into him to try to draw contact, the referees didn't call it. It was really Richard Hamilton who elbowed him and that's not fundamental foul drawing.
I couldn't believe that Detroit left that Horry guy open either! I was like: cover that S.O.B.! I was SO upset! I really hope Detroit can win the next two even though San Antonio is a really tough team to beat at home. The Pistons are a really good team when it comes to pressure so I have confidence that they'll pull it off. I'm not sure what call you're talking about Kaiser, but you could be right. I always pick out fouls that refs don't call and a lot of their calls are bull crap. In game 1 or 2 Ben Wallace was called for a blocking foul which was clearly an offensive foul. Pretty dumb that the team with homecourt advantage has to play 3 games in a row on the road. The should stick to the 2-2-2-1 format where the first 2 are at home, next 2 are on road, the 2 at home, and 1 on road.

The only reason I don't like the Pistons is because of that arrogant loud mouth Rasheed Wallace. Everyone else is ok. Except Darko Milicic who does nothing in games and it seems to me like all he's doing is hopping onto their bandwagon.
Well Milicic wasn't Larry's first choice for bench players for the Finals but Delfino got injured or something. And Rasheed Wallace rocks hardcore! He may get a little hot-headed sometimes but for the most part he knows what he's talking about. He's gotta look out for the team, you know. Some of those calls are bullshit and if somebody doesn't call the refs on it, he will. But I suppose your entitled to your own opinion.
