ARE THE MAKERS OF FAST FOOD WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES?

This occurred to me the other night, when I saw ad ad on TV for Domino's triple-cheese stuffed crust pizza. Artery clogging in a box. These people keep making food that's higher in fat. Could one reason be that it will ensure the sale of cholesterol-lowering drugs Prevastat?

Just wondering.

Yes, makes sense to me.
No, makes no sense.

Maybe they should just start putting Lipitor in all the hamburgers. Kill two birds with one stone!

I heard on the news the other day that Hardees has just introduced a new giant cheeseburger that has 1,400 calories. In one burger.

I think a lot of people just don't care if they are obese and at risk for major health problems.

That sounds about right. It's kind of like the tobacco companies putting chemicals in their product to make it more addictive.

Products respond to supply and demand. If no one bought those artery cloggers, they would disappear. Fast food businesses don't need to conspire. The build it, and they know you will come.

It really irritates me when people sue fast food chains for having caused them to get fat. I mean, have you ever seen someone with their arms twisted behind their backs being forced into a fast food restaurant?

Enjoyed the ballot. Thanks.
