I was a bit surprised, actually. Always felt GWB was closely allied with Big Oil, but to be so open about it? Fairly surprising.
Will the relationship reduce oil prices? No. Perhaps a little cosmetic change here and there, but business as usual I'd say. But, who didn't know that?

It's customary for Muslim men to hold hands with their Muslim male friends (and occasionally non-Muslim male friends such as Prince Abdullah shown on TV holding hands with President Bush) while walking in public. I first learned of this custom many years ago while I was taking a college course in world history in which I saw a documentary movie made in one of the Arab countries.
