DO YOU BELIEVE IN A "JOBLESS RECOVERY"

COMMENTS:
Bush Sr. And Bush Jr. have proven it can happen.
interest rates used to be high, which is a good thing if you are a rich lender, now interest rates are rock bottom and even rich people are getting the shaft from Bush, lol the worst president in US history..
it's a recovery for the mega rich....with stock prices down they get huge discounts on the stocks they would buy anyway....all of the desperate workers are breaking their asses so they aren't the next ones to loose employment....insurance companies can cry and get goverment slices of the pie while school children make do with less and less.... oh and that isn't called welfare here....it's called living on the street.
They blithely use the technical definition of economy when they make this statement. Basically, that has to do with Wall Street and GDP. It does little for anyone who depends upon a paycheck for a living. For all practical purposes, I agree: Without jobs, there is no real recovery.
Stated accuratelya nd succinctly: No jobs means no recovery. Wall Street is NOT the sole measure of a recovery, nor is GDP or Productivity. All of that is, ultimately, meaningless if there are no jobs.
Bother ... I have to start reading the comments on these to make sure I haven't already responded!
To boost an economy, people need to be consumers and consumers need jobs to pay for the goods, they themselves probably made, neat trick huh.
