damn, if only i were african american i could tell you how i feel.. ahhh well, im getting used to not being able to express my opinions because of the colour of my skin
sorry, that was bitter. i would actually like to hear how african Americans feel about this policy as well.
Well, I AM Black (let's toss that A-A crap- I'm as African as the members of ABBA), and I say airmail the entire package. Let merit and ability stand as the deciding factors in gettig jobs or school placements. If we set aside something for one group, we should set aside for ALL.
AA covers other groups too
Affirmative action is wrong. If African Americans want to be hired and be successful, they should have the same equal chance as other races. It shouldn't matter what their backround or skin color is, but what their qualification and attitude is.
Cletus, are you discriminating against us White Folks on this ballot? I thought so, you raging liberal, you. How dare you limit this ballot response to African Americans? How is that equal opportunity, and aren't you promoting some wicked species of affirmative action, eh? Lay down, people, it's parody.
It didnt stop you commenting though did it Griffon? Maybe it shows how easily African Americans could over come any supposed discrimination they face with a little effort eh?
Well, King Alfred, I find myself in the awkward position of agreeing with you. I am opposed to any flavor of discrimination. It has always made me uneasy to award anyone anything on the basis of any criteria that didn't relate to the reward. Or something. Too many bourbons this afternoon, actually. And what's your lame excuse for the spleen, my brother? A tot or two too much joy juice, or something worse?
Why is it an "awkward" position to be agreeing with me? You find speaking the truth awkward?! " And what's your lame excuse for the spleen, my brother? A tot or two too much joy juice, or something worse? " I geuinly dont understand this, though i get the impression it was intended as a dig odf some sort?
