The question is that what if Science was the new religion and the believers in it would fight and die for like the followers of Judaism,Islam, and Christianity? Yeah it seems to me that every religion started from humble beginnings kind of like a brush fire until suddenly it becomes uncontrollable devouring and destroying everything in its path that catches onto it is left barren and destroyed. Science like religion of old comes to benefit mankind and to educate him on the importance of himself and the things around him, when in actuality its only there to divide us even more then religion itself did.

I think science is today's new religion forgive the oxymoron.

There are heretics in science too. People like Einstein and others were viewed as nuts for a long time because their views were not in line with the predominant view.
