HOW DID YOU LIKE OUR LATEST ENGLISH LESSON FROM GEORGE W. BUSH?

In a sparsely-covered press conference last night, he opined about Amnesty International:

"It seemed like to me {Amnesty International} based some of their decisions on the word of, and the allegations by people who were held in detention, people who hate America, people that had been trained in some instances to DISASSEMBLE - that means not tell the truth."

No chuckles from the press corps, who make their living with words. That took self-control, IMO.

Dissemble, disassemble - what does it matter, so long as he loves his mother?
Great! Another one for Bushisms - Vol. 2
His feel for the English language is worse than his feel for the truth.
It showed the disassembled mind of a dissembler.
He's giving subliminabable messages
His linguistics coach was on vacation again

COMMENTS:
Oh the irony - the Poster Boy for dissembling doesn't know the meaning of the word.

I looked up "dissemble" in the dictionary. Why was there a picture of George W. Bush?

I have to admit: If I agreed with every single policy he ever put out, I would still assert he was unfit. Anyone can make occasional slips. But when someone projects an image of ignorance and lack of intellectual curiosity/ ability ... he just isn't the right person to be the Face of America.

haha, if he was intelligent enough to know the word he would have killed himself a long time ago, to spare us the trouble
