Could this be mankind's fate? For we are at the top of the food chain now and basically rule everything. Don't forget nothing can't be ontop forever. Who know's how the end might come, a cataclysm of fire, us nuking each other back to the stone age? Who knows how the successors of mankind may be, hopefully not as awesomely destructive and violent as we are. If they ever arise of course and how can one species stay ontop the the food chain for another couple billion years? We might evelove even more or even devolve.
