Yes, I believe it is hypocritical ... or at least indicative of skewed priorities.
I don't even consider myself to be a feminist, but that is just wrong-headed, IMO, however you look at it. Good question.
It's ridiculous. Pregnancy and birth control can be health issues, getting your wee-wee wet isn't. Unless, of course, you get one of those non-stop four hour hard-ons. I'll bet that's hilarious in the emergency room, when some old fart walks in holding a towel in front of his pants trying to hide a perma-stiffy.
cranky, lol!!
It is beyond hypocritical, unless you believe that "every sperm is sacred" and that you should not do anything to prevent conception.
Somewhat, but medicare shouldn't even exist anyway so the less it covers the better.
of course it is hypocritical, but isn't the whole system?? basically??
Never really pondered the issue.

Brillant..cranky Yes, women should get BC, because otherwise we will all die..overpopulation. What is more important, controlled population or hard ons?
No, old people dont need birth control, but they use Viagra. Isnt medicare mostly for older people? Why would women past menopause need B.C.??
It's NOT hypocriscy. Impotentence is a medical condition. Viagra is a drug which CORRECTS the condition. OVULATION is not a medical condition! It is a NORMAL bodily function NOT medical condition. Birth Control pills are used to inhibit this function. They are not used to CORRECT something that is wrong, which is the purpose of Viagra. The reason the Feminists are upset is because they can't stand the idea of men getting their Jollies. Like the old joke: Why does a woman close her eyes during sex? Because she can't stand seeing a man having a good time.
OVULATION is not a medical condition! It is a NORMAL bodily function NOT medical condition. -Grapost Ok Grapost, isn't an erection a NORMAL bodiliy function and not a MEDICAL function also? Personally, I advocate people to get thier jollies, but how many unwanted pregnancies end up in abuse & neglect or in other horrible situations? I guess I should of specified my reasoning of "controlling the popluation" which is not a medical problem, it is a global problem. Children/people all over the world are starving, because there is not enough food/money/supplies to go around.. somehow I see that more as an important issue, globally than hard ons.. not that a hard on isn't nice, but less important in the "long-run" as far as the human race is considered. I am not saying I am a feminist, and I think that this ballot is striking a damn good question.
It's not hypocracy, it's a wonderful idea! It means all those randy old Republicans can reproduce and create a whole new generation of leaders, while vegetarian feminist liberal scum are forced to wallow in herds of children and produce new cannon fodder for the war against the Musilamics.
Voted : Yes
Why the hell would medicare cover viagra?
Voted : No
Medicare covers women over 65, almost none of whom are on birth control pills. Those that were on HRT have stopped due to increased risk of cancer.
