Y'all some YOUNG 'UNs! I remember the day gasoline hit fifty cents a gallon, staring in shock at the pump. The guy pumping gas next to me said, "One day, it'll hit a BUCK a gallon." Me, I didn't believe him. What a fool I am...
lol, I remember it once hit 99c a gallon, in the early 90's in CA. I thought it would stay there, so I bought a gas guzzler. What a fool I was :)

35 cents for high test, and 32 cents for regular.
And that was with full service!
A candy bar was 15 cents.
Oh yeah, and I was making $2.10 and hour at my job.
We drove covered wagons back then.
33 cents when I was a kid who bought gas to mow lawns.
56 cents when I got my first car--an Opal GT
Coincidentally, I got my first car when gas hit 78 cents per gallon back in Feb. of 98.
It sucks to spend your whole driving life watching the prices constantly go up and never down...
