COMMENTS:
How about just a plain, simple 'no?'
My mother never understood the irony in saying to me "You go to church, you son-of-a-bitch".
I was forced to go, but it wasn't a normal church it was the cultist Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall. They don't like to call it church because its a brain washing operations that screws you over for life!
Dude, sucks for you! My condolences, man...
Although every Sunday I may not of wanted to go to Church I did and now as an adult I thank my parents. A child cannot decide for themselves what is good for them. Most of the values I hold dear come from my devout Christian parents and the fact I went to church three time a week when I was a child. Those three to five hours were better spent in church than they would have been sleeping or watching television. When I have children they will surely be "made" to go to church as a family. It is just a plain good way to teach children right from wrong.
Im from britain, probably the least religiouse place on earth (only 30% or so beleeve in an after life...), so hell no
No, my parents never forced me to go to church, since they don't belong to any religion. But the Catholic school I attended forced all the students to go to Mass one day a week during school hours.
