Here's a big part of Africa's food problem: Zimbabwe has been "the bread basket of Africa" for many years under the British. It is a country with rich agricultural soil, which, when well managed, fed most of Africa. After the British left Zimbabwe, a violent reaction against the White farmer/landowners ensued. Lands held for generations were seized by the government of Robert Mugawbe. In some cases farmers were jailed and even killed. There was no hue and cry because the prevailing attitude seemed to be that so long as Blacks were replacing Whites, that this somehow made what was going on right.
The crux of the problem is that Robert Mugawbe is a very sick man, he is a megalomaniac,
and is surrounded by like minded henchmen.
Now, with the farms of Zimbabwe widely mismanaged by the Black recipients, the country, and much of Africa is paying the price.
Should we rush to assist this government? You tell me.
