I called my dog, Dog, and it was easy to find bowls with his name on too.

HowdyPilgrim was a cat and I lived alone and wanted to be able to walk in the house and say, HOWDYPILGRIM.. like John Wayne.
And now you have a fanny called cat (well not quite cat) :)
Had a sweet kitty I named Circle because he was the roundest of the 3 kittens his momma cat had, Drew & Trey were his sis & bro. all very sweet but gone now.
The neighbor had an unresponsive dog that we re-named "Stay," so as to preserve the illusion of control.
