He hasn’t been held responsible for his actions in leading America into an unjustified, pointless war in Iraq. And I don’t know why. If you do please share and if you think Bush is being unfairly punished then please share your reasoning. I could use a laugh in the face of the huge tragedy America is encountering because of the sheeple that support him. Do you think America has held President Bush to the level of accountability he deserves?

Yes and I will comment.
No and I will comment.

No. If Reagan was the Teflon president, there should be a new anti-stick product devised for Bush.

I dont think our Senators and Congressmen have been held accountable for giving the authorization to invade Iraq.
by JohnnyReb on Sat Jul 16, 05 4:25pm [+]

JohnnyReb- Are you saying that it is worse for the Senators and Congressmen to reinforce the power the President already had than to commit mass murder for no reason? The President can call a police action on any country that he believes poses an immediate threat, but the information was faulty and was either misconstrued or purposely misrepresented to the public. Should the senators and congressmen take the part of the blaim for believing that a post 9-11 America would think they were being unpatriotic for not supporting this war? Maybe, but the person/people that lead us into this war, Bush and cronies, deserve the lion share of punishment.

Robin, take your blinders off and see the whole thing.

No, and they continue to look for any opportunity to diffuse responsibility for inexcusable negligence, incompetence, and/or deceit.

JohnnyReb: "Senators and Congressmen" Good grief, a senator is a congressman. You should have said senators and representatives.
Second, who is responsible for the congress? We the people. We the people are ultimately responsible for this mess. But what do expect when the electorate doesn't know the difference between a senator and a representative.

If Bush really believed there were stockpiles of WMD in Iraq according to the intelligence reports of several countries I dont blame him that much. I think the blame is higher with behind the scenes ppl who retain there power no matter who is in office. But I think Bush is a dick for other reasons, like our trade policies and his nothing policy on border patrol.

Vanhelsing, I agree.

I don't think that Mister Bush has been held NEARLY accountable enough for what he's started. I leave history to answer any questions that might be raised.
by Truthseeker013 on Sat Jul 16, 05 7:59pm [+]

If we did, he'd already be impeached.
by cranky on Sun Jul 17, 05 6:25am [+]

We haven't held a president to the level of accountability they deserve in generations.
by thc2883 on Sun Jul 17, 05 9:55am [+]

No way reb, I'd never cheat on you.
by elvislennon on Sun Jul 17, 05 3:49pm [+]

Nope -- the media hasn't told the truth, and the American public has been apathetic at best to the abhorrent things that Bush has done.
by xxxxxxxx on Mon Jul 18, 05 3:27am [+]

So you want 9/11 all over again? I certainly wouldn't want you as president.
by jakesnake5 on Sat Aug 12, 06 1:30pm [+]

Bush hasn't done anything that any other American president wouldn't have done. I have seen enough American presidents in my lifetime to back that up.
