I don't know of any schools that fit the parameters you named, but I'd love to see the names. It's wrong under any circumstances to segregate. I attended an HCBU (Historically Black College/University), but there were still a number of students of other colors and ethnicities enrolled as well. Somewhere along the line, Mankind needs to grasp one inescapable reality.

All-white schools were racist because their intention was to exclude non-whites.
Black colleges were created so that blacks would have a chance at a college education because they were excluded from mainstream colleges.
Years ago, many blacks would like to have attended white schools, but I doubt if there were too many whites clamoring to get into all-black schools.
And the reason they call them "Historically Black Colleges" is because they don't exclude people of other races these days.
And the reason you don't see single race colleges today--even places like Bob Jones University--is because they want those Federal dollars.
So "Historically Black" schools have white students? Or do they only take minorities?
Since minorities are allowed to go to regular colleges now, it would be wrong for them to discriminate as well. However they do have the right to promote themselves as a historically black college.

Because they're minorities.
Minorities have a magical gift, they can do whatever they want and never be called racist. Black against white hate crimes far outnumber white against black hate crimes, but whites are always portrayed as the most racist, and no one is allowed to mention this statistic in public.
Sharpton, jackson and other famous black leaders are allowed to make all sorts of anti-semetic comments that would never be if said by someone else (and they have). A certain black senator made a racist comment against hispanics, you heard about it on the news right? Nope, never even made page 10. What do you think would have happened to trent lott if he'd said 'all you people look alike to me' to a minority (that was the comment I was refering to)?

It's a double standard. In the rules of political correctism, blacks are allowed to play the "we were slaves 140 years ago" card whenever it comes to getting advantage over everyone else.
Don't anyone call me a racist either, this is a solid fact. Not all blacks do it but many of them do.

What Truthseeker said is the truth. A white person can attend any of those schools if they wish. They were originally developed because blacks were denied the right to attend other colleges.

The HBCUs are just that, HISTORICALLY black but they currently let in all races and ethnicities. I know a Vietnamese kid in Howard's pharmacy program. I laugh whenever I think of little Thong Nguyen walking around the Howard campus.
Spellman for one, Bethune Cookman for another Grambling.. They might be 1%other but they are black schools. And why is there a Black Ms. USA. It is always OK for them, but God forbid another race does the same thing. White schools would dominate by the way.

This quetion is irrelevant being that there is no such thing as black schools that are only for blacks..The correct term is historically black colleges or universities which were established for the purposes of emphazing black history and education! FYI white and other minorties attend these HBCUS
