COMMENTS:
Like all western societies, it is victim ofthe capitalist system. Until we practice global socialism, there will always be the ruling class who will suck the marrow of the masses and so create the destitute.
What your describing in a capitalist society is actually happening in a communist society -- china.

Tough call, ABC. If aid is to be given to a country whose regime has not tried to help, then that aid should be soley administered by outside agencies.
Steel Your system would result in 0% homelessness and 100% poverty. I guess you prefer that alternative. And you still don't know what capitalism is. I guess you don't really care about the truth do you?
Hmmmm THC lecturing me on truth, who would have thought it. The facts speak for themselves, the pseudo capitalist system we employ in the west, creates a divide of haves and have nots, simple as that, no argument you give can change those bald facts. Aya: Please see other comments with regard to you mistaken belief that China is a communist country.
^And you would like to steal from the haves to give to the have nots because they're lazy. A capitalist system would result in a better standard of living for 99.9% of the population, the other 0.1% have the highest standard of living right now because they step all over the rest of us.
What is truly scary THC, is you really believe that fairytale. How does one steal what already belongs to us?
What I own belongs to everyone else?
The land and the means of production belongs to all of us, as do the natural resources. You may enjoy having you labour exploited by people who do NO work, I choose to earn from the fruits of my labour andnot have the bourgoise ruling classes take it and do no labour.
You didn't answer my question. The land belongs to it's rightful owner, as does the factory. We contributed nothing to it, it is not ours.
Who built the factory, who has the right to 'sell' land? All you are saying is that those who stole the land should not have it taken from them again.
Those who bought the land fairly shouldn't have it stolen from them. If it is found that a corporation stole the land decades ago, I think you know my position is to give it back.
The land was stolen thousands of years ago, it has passed through many private owners, but in the end they bought stolen goods.
^Stolen from who? From the animals who owned it before humans settled that part of the world?
Stolen by the few, from the majority
Unless the majority was already there, they have no rightful claim.
You seem to feel its a case of first come first serve when divvying up the planets resources... how sad.
If I find an empty uninhabited plot of land and build my home on it then it's my property and no one else has a right to it.
Im sure the aboriginies and native Americans would disagree with you.
If they didn't inhabit that specific area then it's not theirs. If they gave it away, it's not theirs.
They didnt give it away, it was stolen at gunpoint.
Every single parcel of land?
stop jumping about in your argument, I know you stance is weak, but come on...
Your argument is full of holes. I'm just showing you all of them. Call it jumping around if you wish.
