i think you just need to use better judgment in your topics of choice. i mean being a minority of sorts myself (gay), sometimes it really hurts when someone makes fun of you or ridicules you. the thing with humor is that while it appears funny, if it is humor that slams people of a certain race, religion or sexual orientation, ultimately it can cause pain for someone in that group. i think you should stay, but maybe lighten up a little with the race-based stuff.
I personally think you need to think everything through before you say it and only say things that will not offend anyone at all...well anyone except whites and right-wingers. Any time you dare think of speaking your mind and relaying an original thought, remember, that is not the right way to do things. You MUST, at all costs, avoid offending others. After all, when someone asks you what you really think, which is more important: telling what you think or fitting in?

I find some of your posts to be offensive and/or racist. Rather than take an all or nothing attitude, why not try some maturity and self-evaluation before you post?
BTW, if one labels everyone who disagrees with them as "liberal PC extremists," they never have to look at their own behaviour, do they.
I suggest looking inward, first, before laying blame on others.

Cath, I find you to be an intelligent user except for your opinions about racism and stereotypes. You want this completely sterile whitewashed society, what's next, people shave their heads and entire bodies and we all wear baggy clothing so that no one can tell who is male or female? I mean honestly, do you find it offensive that I don't like liver, am I stereotyping a cow's liver? Where will you draw the line?
ALL people are stereotypical, EVERYONE, even you, I find it hilarious that anyone tries to say they aren't.
