You gotta pay for pot(not me), you get high as long as half an hour to two hours, and then the after effects kick in, plus because the gov'ts think it's bad, there is risk of getting caught with or smoking the shit.
It only got banned with cocaine, because the gov't had control of tobacco, but not drugs, the crime industry was making that money, so the gov't took the next step by banning it. Making it more fun to acquire it.
The gov't wants total control of their people, they use every sneaky way to do it too.
Pride, Fear, Supply and Demand, news, taxes, hate for Saddam, things of all that nature.
Marijuana will soon be a gov't controlled conglomerate in Canada, because right now their taking down dealer's all over to ice their competition. At least Canada's economy will boost. But, hey as long as American's believe pot leads to terrorism or something, they'll keep their war on drugs. In Canada, we know what causes people problems, that's why we don't react to certain subjects like Americans.

one of the reasons this country has such an underground is because the gov. has been telling such bodacious fibs for years about mostly harmless pot...all they have done is convice people rightly or wrongly that EVERYTHING the gov says is just another big fat lie told by big fat lying liars. high is high, a drug is a drug, alcohol is a drug, pot is a drug, heroin is a drug. heroin and alcohol have the potential to get you WAY wasted and addicted ( but beer is ok of course ) and pot is a mild drug who's worst effect is on the lungs--any idiot's gotta know inhaling smoke of any type is not good for you...BUT if there was not this weird crusade like vendetta against this intoxicant there would be better delivery methods that produce the same desired head effects.
