Gandhi was all about peaceful resistance and dissent, starting a peaceful revolution in India with his actions.

Imagine if Gandhi was against the war in Iraq and acted the same way. How would the Bush administration and the media, which is in the neocons' pocket, treat Gandhi?

They'd tear him to shreds.
They'd completely ignore him.
they'd sneeringly call him a humanist
They'd throw him in Gitmo
They'd call him a communist traitor.
They'd imply he was gay.
They'd slam him for not being a Christian.
They'd laugh at his diaper.

They's say he'd had a BJ from some high-caste woman and proceed to hound him for years about it.

Sooo, the Bush administration is more repressive than the imperial British?

I wonder how the people who were starved out in Ireland would feel?

I wonder how the people mowed down in the Boer War would feel?

How about Nigeria when the British killed a bunch of women for asking for food?

How about Egypt when they faced there opponents with modern weaponry and slaughtered hundreds?

How about the Palestinian and Iraqi mandate?

Yes Bush would probably just kill him, because he and us act much worse than the former British empire.

Inter regnum...yeah US have their moments too to show that they slip up like a minority did when the empire was still empowered..such as US Marines beating the hell out of little serbian women and stuff to name one...but its not the actions of a whole but a minority..just as it was with the British Empire.More good came from the empire than bad. Colonialism gave alot of places the freedom democracy and advancements they now have. THC is on who would agree in this
