I probably should have tried dumbing this ballot down some, I doubt some of the people I'm referring to are even going to understand what this ballot means. Maybe I'll draw some stick figures or something and add them in.
I'm going to suggest a 1940's Daffy Duck cartoon, "Politically Defect" with loads of Carl Stalling goofball music and explosions. Wait, wait, I can see the scenario...Porky Pig's a professor of "Porcine-American studies" who takes offense at the fact that Daffy's brought a can of Spam (TM) to class for his lunch. Rather than enroll in a cultural sensitivity class, Daffy proceeds to blow up half the campus and bombard the other half with cans of ham while commandeering a B-19. Of course, this is the "woo-woo!" crazy Daffy from the 1940's, not the sad jerk of the Chuch Jones era.

I think that those charges are made by all the small minded people with their only intention being to cut off the conversation.
There are at least a dozen people here who think that by insulting someone, especially in a psuedointellectal way (cathexis)
that they have actually done something to clarify their view.
But really,
they are simply attempting to shut up the opinions of those they don't like.
I don't read all of herzog's comments. But I have never seen him say anything that is racist. And, I am quite sure he is not a racist.
So, later when these serial insulters make that claim about anyone else I don't believe them.

Uh, huh. Like anybody really cares. Cathexis goes out of his way to be courteous to other users. Some of Herzog's comments DO come off as bigotted, but for the most part, he too, is a courteous user, and isn't right for Cranky to unfairly downgrade him for a ballot he doesn't agree with.

I like Herzog, ive disagreed with him on a few occasions but he has always been curious with me, I personally can’t say anything bad about him. He states his views clearly, and although I don’t always agree with them he does make a worthy opponent.

Herzog spends a great deal of time making up ballots and comments that constantly point out negative aspects of non-white, non-christian culture.
He uses deliberate (and clever) misinformation and misdirection to make it sound as if he is being very rational and without prejudice.
His comments and ballots amount to nothing more than a smearing of all that is not pure christian whiteness.
For example: He argues that all Muslims need to "cooperate with the authorities" or else. This implies a level of guilt or complicity in a crime (terrorism).
He argues (wrongly) that Muslim leaders will not denounce terroist acts against the West. Some don't but unequivocally, most do.
He argues that Black Americans do not deserve any kind of compensation for three centuries of torture, humiliation, subjugation and segregation.
He posted 20+ Muslim baiting ballots.
He refuses to acknowledge evil acts perpetrated by the Far Right in Europe (of course in the name of Christianity).
And he refuses to accept that minorites in the UK and US generally have a very hard time due to the ingrained racism of the white masses.
To Herzog non-whites are threatening to destroy his culture by stealing jobs, university places and by blowing everybody up in terrorist attacks.
His whole standpoint and arguments are racist in intent and it is astonishing that most of the users here seem not to notice.

Ha, widehead I'm agnostic. If I come off as pro-christians it's simply because christians are given a harder time than other religions in this politically correct society of ours and it's unfair.
And my ballots are based on facts, news reports, statistics, etc. If you can factually disprove them go ahead, but you can't so you'll lie and say I'm making them up rather than address the facts I have presented.

A number of Muslim organizations in North America and Europe do certainly and good for them. However, if you follow the translations of the original Arabic rants at the MEMRI site or others, you'll see that it's anti-Western, pro-jihad business as usual in many corners of the Middle East. Read some of the pronouncements coming from Al-Azhar University in Egypt (foremost Sunni religious institution in the Middle East), for example. There's no abatement of the rabid religious bigotry or Occidentalism.

First of all, there's no precedent whatsover under Anglo-American law for a lawsuit that would cover actions that took place 3 centuries ago or even a century and a half ago. There's no statute of limitations that would cover it and no modern parties could fairly be said to be complicit in what took place. You basically are just wanting to confiscate property or impose taxes on neutral parties, so admit it. Besides, this would, at the least be a claim that any blacks suing would need to bring against the European nations *and* the African kingdoms (and their successors) who aided in enslaving and transporting blacks from their original homeland. It's all a ridiculous scam.

You believe European culture's rotten, that America's essentially a racist culture, that only non-Western cultures are "pure," and that the Crusades were unproved aggression since everyone in India and Byzantium peacefully converted to Islam of their own accord and freely.
