COMMENTS:
What is REALLY ridiculous it that democrats ARE actually blaming it on GWB. So why speculate on something that isn't even being done and focus on the silly blame that is going on.
"I think it puts into question all of the Homeland Security and Northern Command planning for the last four years, because if we can't respond faster than this to an event we saw coming across the Gulf for days, then why do we think we're prepared to respond to a nuclear or biological attack?" Newt Gingrich. Yeah, darn that liberal pinko, Gingrich.

Republicans tend to blame clinton for things he actually did while in office. Like slashing the military or intelligence budget. Leftwingers tend to blame bush for. . . well, everything. The tsunami, this hurricane (to take attention off sheehan, yes I've heard this), poverty, wealthy, high gas prices, low gas prices, etc.
I do think the HS needs to be improved, but that has nothing to do with President Bush being personally responsible for the hurricane and all the aftermath. It's just silly. Just because this happened while GWB was in office he gets all kinds of fingers pointed at him. No one bothers to point out that no one since 1969 has bothered to reinforce the flood system in NO, but are certainly quick to point out that GWB didn't fix it.
Actually, Republicans tend to blame Clinton for things that George W. Bush has done while since he's taken office.
And I'd love to be able to blame Dubya for low gas prices.
(I hope you Bush-lovers really believe that everyone on your left blames Bush for tsunamis and floods and hurricanes, etc. Repeating it over and over doesn't make it true and it's plain annoying. But carry on with that if it's what you really do believe, to me it just seems like a waste of whining.)

To the pro-Bushies, whining never seems like a waste.
Herzog is right the left takes the prize for whining. Everything is W's fault, according to the left. Anything new that happens natural or otherwise all you have to do is wait a day or so & the left will be pointing fingers.
Jyl, visit the democratic underground some time, it might prove enlightening.
Okay then, let me go and see what *that crowd of Computer Warriers are obsessing over.. OR NOT.

You might want to check out the post of people who, immediately following rehnquist's death, wanted to go piss on his grave. Or you can keep your head buried in the sand and pretend that the left is holy and perfect. Your choice.
I'm sorry you let those little boys represent everyone to your left, sorry you won't ever understand the billions in between. Can I imagine you in a KKK hat from now on? I've known a lot of Republicans, how bout I just lump you in with them from now on? :)

While its true that some Democrats tend to blame Bush for a lot, its utterly rediculous to say that Republicans only blamed Clinton for things he did. Take this for example. Many on the right blame Clinton for 911, something that happened 9 months after he left office because they say he inadequately protected the country. Yet, they also blame him for the first World Trade attack, even though it happened only 37 days into his presidency. A bit of hypocrisy huh.
