COMMENTS:
Probably. Bush's influence has been tragically significant -- enough to totally screw up many facets of teh country. It will take us decades or generations to recover, assuming the citizenry regains enough wisdom and integrity to reject him and his ilk.
I don't know, but I think 9/11 is going to be used many years from now on, to divide a new historical age from the old one, just like 1918 divides modern history from contemporary history.
Sure, the accent and the decline of power.
yes, like yours :)
I voted against Bush, but some people have no sense of history. There were two World Wars, a Great Depression, a Civil War, and so forth. Bush isn't that important.
I just hope the damage he and his buddies have wrought is fixable.

No. It will be divided from the Red Scare era of the Cold War, a small gap between, and then the so-called war on terror era. Both eras saw attempts to reduce rights and privacy in the US, out of supposed fear of supposed enemies. It's all just a little bit of history repeating. I don't see George W. Bush as being really that significant. Many Cold War Presidents have behaved similar to him, just out of different stated reasons.

George W Bush is an idiot but then so was Warren Harding, so was Ronald Reagan. Bush behaves like a dictator. So did Franklin D Roosevelt. Bush stole an election. So did John F Kennedy. Bush is a liar. So was Nixon. This too shall pass as Abe Lincoln said. I think history will see Bush as a fool who acted as Dick Cheneys frontman and bullet stopper.
There's actually going to be a post Bush era??
