Chicken-hawk family traditions

On Saturday night in western Iraq, a roadside bomb exploded near a U.S. soldier on patrol. According to the Associated Press, the soldier was taken to a U.S. military hospital, where he died of his wounds.

Early Friday morning in Austin, Texas, the 21-year-old son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush -- and the nephew of President George W. Bush -- was arrested on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest. According to the Austin American-Statesman, John Ellis Bush was taken to the Travis County Jail, where he was released on his own recognizance.

no, it doesn't. i think all of the bush children, including those drunken slut daughthers of gwb, should be packed off to the front and made to fight. lets see how fast gwb fixes things in iraq when the bush kids (all of them) are taken home in...............

Careful, folks. Don't let our righteous indignation at the atrocities Bush and his Administration have committed generalize to people with far less to answer for.
by Cathexis on Tue Sep 20, 05 12:03pm [+]

No it isn't fair, but its typical. The Bush family are all criminals and I think they should all be arrested and charged with crimes against humanity.

And I want to meet the person who believes that it is fair.

Cathexis, I'd LOVE to, but this is one sore spot I'm kinda tired of ignoring. I just saw a History Channel segment on the Roman Empire, speaking to the ideal of universal military service that Rome practiced. If it could be done two millenia ago, why not now, when we're so "civilized"?
by Truthseeker013 on Tue Sep 20, 05 5:33pm [+]

Servace may have been universal Truthseeker but you cqan bet your arse that those sons of the emperor/senetors etc were all at worst middle grade officers not front rank legionares cowering behind a sheild (there were probably exeptions of coarse) if Bush relatives were in the US forces theyd get the same deal that GWB got when his unit just happened to be one that was no where near vietnam.
