No. Isreal has the capability to do what would be necessary.
America should stop playing favorites in the Middle East. Who am I kidding! Israel rules America now.

Israel has 6 million peopleyet still win wars because they think (unlike about 99% of the muslims), they truly believe in their cause, and they work like hell to do somthing and be the best at it. Iran poses a threat to Israel and they will for the forseeable future pose one to us. If they want to take israel down then we will be next and if they want to take Israel out then God help them (the Iranians) and u can see this in their war for Independence, yom kippur, 6 day war, and their on going struggle against the palistinians. Israel might not need help but it is a good idea since Israel is the only eal democracy in the Middle East and becasue of all the science and military advances that they make. If America did not help them then I would have the mind to go over and join up my self, and i am not even Jewish.

More likely it's because the USA gives them enormous amounts of money and military aid. As the conflict with hezbollah showed recently, Israeli soldiers aren't very good nor well trained, and they rely on their airforce too much.
