This is a dificult question to phrase. Do Love and sex go hand in hand? I know there are too many variations in Love to form a question like this. Yet it seems that so many believe Love and sex are one in the same. Know what I mean? help me elaborate, please!

Love is a feeling which creates a strong emotional bond between individuals. This makes them vunerable to one another thus forcing them to care about each other. Sex is, in nature a procreative act which is hormonally stimulated in order to preserve the species. Both humans and dolphins engage in sexual activity for the pleasure granted by those acts to the participants. Love can also mean pleasure like when I say: "I love to eat" which means I take pleasure in eating. Thus "making love" or sex means producing pleasure, from here I believe arises the main confusion of this issue.
