They are independent little things but actually they are our possessions, the pet ones anyway.
I keep telling my oldest one he belongs to me and I can see he doesn't care but then I wonder if he knows he's mine, if he knows that he Belongs to me.

My cats come to me for attention, when they want out, fed and when they are afraid. They rarely go to anybody else in the household.

So, you tell me, Do they recognize who they belong to?

It's an affection they share for me.
