Regarding Bush's 2006 State of the Union address ...
WASHINGTON - One day after President Bush vowed to reduce America's dependence on Middle East oil by cutting imports from there 75 percent by 2025, his energy secretary and national economic adviser said Wednesday that the president didn't mean it literally.
So ... what other parts of Bush's State of teh Union speech shouldn't we take literally?
All of it
The economy is strong
He knows what is best for America (more than that old piece of paper, anyway!)
The state of the Union is *strong*!
Iraq is going well
All but the war and NSA spying stuff
The joke about George H. and Bill Clinton
