[+] ballot by jappy ACTIVE Fri Feb 17, 06 - Wed Nov 12, 08 An environmental group should have scientists, as many as possible, to do credible research into our world, finding responsible means of conservation, and using this evidence that is gathered as a means to effectively change public perception and behavior, thru media and governmental actions, to better facilitate changes that support the outcome of the data that these scientists have come up with. Instead, the vast majority of environmental groups have very few scientists, some do little or NO research at all, but simply resort to hiring lawyers to use strong arm tactics such as lawsuits and media blustering as a most typically unsuccessful way of changing the way that we as humans live our lives. Does this make sense? Would we not be better served by having more scientists within these organizations than lawyers? Yes, more scientists, better data, a better choice.
