When this happens, what will be the effect upon terrorism around the world? Will terrorism actually decrease as radical Islamics applaud the loss of interest in their area of the world because of the lack of need for oil? Will current terrorist groups lay down their arms with the idea that Arabs will be able to live their lives without the influence of western culture? Or, will terrorism dramatically increase as Arab countries finally come to realize and respect how important the relationship with western civilization was, and how now they are suddenly without their main source of income. Will poverty stricken Arabs who were once ‘well to do’ under the old system be driven to commit acts of terrorism out of desperation under the banner of entirely new terrorist groups?
