Look, we all have our own opinions. There is a myriad of evidence out there to argue almost any case.

Some opinions are somewhat unusual, but that doesn't make them any less possible.

I worry that a lot of people on this site like to degrade anyone who expresses a historical theory which differs from the norm. You know who you are. It seems unhealthy to this site and even potentially dangerous to just dismiss opinions which are unusual, and I see this going on in this site.

Is there anything wrong with questioning historical events (Holocaust, 9/11, etc.)?

Yes there is.
No there isn't.
Just remember, opinions are not facts nor truths, just opinions.

Its unfortunate that some people start pushing and promoting their opinions off on others as being facts and falsely believe their opinions erase facts.

There is nothing wrong with raising questions but some people ONLY raise questions. Other conspiracy theorists tell plain lies or distort quotes to recreate reality.

Yes, like those loony "Arabs did it" conspiracy theorists who try to claim that cellphones can make calls from planes flying six miles up and over 450mph. Such a thing is IMPOSSIBLE without an onboard cellular basestation (technology which did't exist prior to 2004).

The other lie these "Arabs did it" conspiracy theorists like to spread is the one about steel-framed buildings being able to collapse at freefall into their own footprint without a controlled demolition. In actual fact, before and after 9/11 it's NEVER HAPPENED.

EVERY OTHER OCCASSION both before and since Sept 11 2001, when steel & concrete buildings collapsed down at near free fall speed into their footprint, it has been due to a controlled demolition.

Can you cite a single exception to this?

With a photo.

Then there's those shills who try to pretend that the US government doesn't employ shills whose job it is to LIE on message boards, and attack those who question the OFFICIAL LIES.

If there is nothing to hide, there should be no problem having a debate on such issues.

Truth should be sought at all cost.

Well your statement, "Like the Holocaust' bothers me a little. It's hard to argue the Holocaust with so much evidence of the terrible event being available. History will write about Hurricane Katrina. Can we question its' validity? It is good to question everything, in my opinion, but when there is overwhelming proof, it's time to accept it as fact.
by xhiker on Mon Sep 25, 06 12:35pm [+]

Oddly, there isn't "overwhelming proof" for the Nazi Holocaust. There are major flaws, contradictions, and no documentary evidence of a deliberate campaign of genocide - not single original German wartime document even mentions it.
