I've tried many things, but I haven't been able to shake that feeling in social situations. I don't really go out much as a result of it. I'm completely comfortable and in my element in one-on-one situations, but when it turns to small groups, I feel isolated. And alcohol helps this out a bit, but I don't like the taste (and the subsequent physical feeling) enough to drink it often. Do you feel the same way? Yes I do. No I don't.
